Visit after work on a Friday, our server was great and recommended the nachos. We got a half order and they absolutely were enough for two people. They were $8. Then for our meals, we got the Gyro and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, both delicious!! Those were $12 & $13. We didn't get anything on tap this time but many others did we noticed, so assuming that's good too. This place has big portions and fair pricing. I recommend coming here.
I really enjoyed Warped Wing beers and was hoping the same would be true about their Brewpub & Smokery in Mason. We stopped by during a soccer tournament for lunch and found immediate seating available both inside and out. The space is very large and can host quite a crowd.
You can't go wrong with a tall glass of Gamma Bomb IPA. But they also have a wide variety of drafts on their two dozen or so taps. In colder weather, you cannot go wrong with Whiskey Rebellion, their barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout.
For lunch, I had the chicken sandwich, which combines smoked chopped chicken with Swiss cheese, Carolina gold bbq, and fried onion straws ($14 with choice of side). The smoke flavor of the chicken was great, and the Carolina sauce was on point, sweet, and tangy with just a bit of spice. On the side, I chose the jalapeno grits, which were a little soupy for my liking. The flavor was good though. Overall it was a good meal and we will be back I'm sure during another soccer tournament.
Went on a busy night, but our waitress was really nice. Nice venue, but a little loud. Again it was busy so expected. Food was really good, but it did take almost an hour for it to arrive. Tater kegs were my favorite and their homemade root beer is amazing.
Brew pub with better food than most. The menu has standard pub fare (wings, burgers sandwiches) but with more interesting flair than usual. My spouse's brisket sandwich was heaping and flavorful (though the brisket could've been a little more tender). My boneless wings were a gigantic portion and perfectly wet wings, and the spicy garlic had actual pieces of minced garlic in the sauce. Our server was friendly and reasonably attentive. The restaurant itself is open and well lit. Parking is plentiful.
I had high hopes for Warped Wing based on the great reviews of the Dayton area locations but was left disappointed. The things that were good, fried pickles, tater kegs, shredded meats, the sauces were delicious. The things that were bad were really bad. The sliced brisket was so tough that I would still be there chewing had I tried to continue to eat it. The bar service was beyond slow and I’d like to say that I loved the beer but they were out of most of our choices. I would not recommend any of the mixed drinks. Service overall was slow and chaotic. If it wasn’t obvious that they are understaffed, I’d give them two stars. With a price point slightly above other nearby breweries serving similar fare, they need to do better.
Solid brewpub, service was good, food was good, beer was very good. Over all a positive experience, but not outstanding. Beer menu has good variety, and my pours all tasted fresh. Got fish tacos (simple, a bit goopy, but solid), and burger (meat was tasty but overcooked and dry, mac n cheese was super flavorful and great). Service was fine. The environment is cozy, simple, but pretty sparse feeling - they could use some touches on the walls or ceilings to give it more character. Again, good spot, I'll go back, just won't be on the top of the list of repeats yet.
This review is specifically about the Orange Cream soda. I had a can a another establishment but had to come here a talk about how delicious this soda is! I was everything that I wanted from a orange cream soda, it was SO creamy with a delightful orange flavor. I am making plans to head to the source soon.
Went around 1:00 on a Saturday. It was busy but the service was decent. The loaded brisket nachos and fried pickles were a great start. Had high hopes for the pork belly tacos but was pretty let down. The drink selection is 👍🏼. …
